Welcome to my new site dedicated to promoting the process of Kirtan, which is the ancient art of mantra meditation especially the chanting of the Maha Mantra-Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

My goal is to bring this meditation process to the urban communities of metro Atlanta and to teach local residents this ancient art in order to bring about a revolution of consciousness.

We will organize events in local facilities like community centers, libraries, yoga centers and private homes as well. Please contact me if you have any suggestions of places that we can arrange programs.

Some of the photos above are from a recent event we held in my home town of East Point.

Our first event at the Clarkston Community Center

This past weekend we held our first event for 2018 at the Clarkston Community Center near my home in Stone Mountain Georgia. Check out the pictures on the right side of this page.

It really was a wonderful event and the feedback has been very encouraging. Yesterday we started planning for the next event which will be sometime in late April.

The Murari Band performed along with the youth kirtan group. Carudesna dasa, one of my spiritual mentors who I have known for more than 45 years, gave a wonderful talk about the science of Bhakti Yoga. And of course we had a delicious feast prepared by some of our dear friends.

We plan to host an event at least once a month at this location. I will post the dates and times here so please make sure to register for our mailing list.

Downtown Atlanta Weekly Kirtan

I just wanted to say thanks to the devotees who are keeping up the weekly kirtan in downtown Atlanta in my absence. Led by Bhakta Tim, they have been going out distributing books, prasadam and the Holy Names.

I will be back in time for next Tuesday's kirtan and I am really looking forward to it.
